About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading outpatient primary care clinic in New York City, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Dietitian (RDN) for a full-time contract position. In this role, you’ll provide individualized nutrition assessments, counseling, and education to patients, helping manage chronic conditions and promote long-term wellness.

The base pay for this position is $45 to $50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and create individualized care plans
- Provide medical nutrition therapy for patients managing chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity
- Educate patients and families on healthy eating, lifestyle changes, and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate care
- Monitor patient progress and document all interventions accurately in the medical record
- Stay up to date on current nutrition research and best practices in clinical dietetics
Job Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (required); Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience (outpatient or primary care preferred)
- Oncology experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
