We are hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for full-time roles across a large, reputable hospital system serving Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Westchester. The base pay for these positions are $25 to $40 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Available Shifts
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Job Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
- Take and document vital signs including temp, pulse, respirations, BP, and oxygen saturation
- Support safe mobility, turning, repositioning, and transfers
- Provide comfort, emotional support, and continuous observation as assigned
- Assist RNs with patient care tasks and documentation
- Maintain clean, safe patient rooms and unit spaces
- Observe and report changes in patient condition immediately
- Follow all hospital protocols, HIPAA standards, and infection control procedures
Job Requirements
- Active NYS Certified Nursing Assistant credential from an approved accredited Nurse Aide training program
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association
