About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established healthcare facility in Westchester County, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse Manager to lead operations within its Emergency Department. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical performance, managing resources, and ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained around the clock.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate nursing activities within the Emergency Department, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and staff performance
- Maintain compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support the strategic goals of the department and broader organization
- Monitor and manage departmental budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and evidence-based practice
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, promoting excellence in clinical care and teamwork
- Ensure timely and effective communication across all levels of the department
Job Requirements
- Active New York State RN license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in emergency nursing
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
