About the Opportunity
Our client is currently looking for an office administrator located in Westchester, New York. A medical office administrator is a healthcare professional who plans, directs, and coordinates supportive services for the clinic.
The annual base salary range is $55,000 to $60,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily practice operations
- Assist in the provider recruitment process and build excellent relationships with providers
- Administer and compile weekly and monthly performance data and statistical reports
- Organize and prioritize office tasks to fulfill all administrative requirements
- Oversee billing and collections portion of office
- Work effectively with vendors
- Manage inventory and equipment
- Coordinate office operations and procedures
- Registration of patients’ information; data entry of basic demographics and insurance information
Requirements
- Previous office management experience required
- Previous experience in primary care, behavioral health, and/or crisis management
- Customer service attitude
