About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our client’s dynamic team in Brooklyn, providing healthcare services in pop-up clinics and outpatient field visits. This role is perfect for a healthcare professional who enjoys working in diverse environments and delivering direct care to underserved populations, in both temporary clinic settings and established outpatient facilities.
The base pay for this position is $68 to $80 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care at pop-up clinics and outpatient settings
- Conduct health screenings, immunizations, and other preventive services in community-based settings
- Offer patient education and counseling on a range of medical conditions and treatment options
- Travel to various locations to provide care, ensuring consistent, high-quality services across all sites
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and community health workers, to coordinate patient care
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment needed for pop-up clinics
- Adhere to all clinic protocols and maintain compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
Job Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in New York
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, or community health
- Willingness and ability to travel to different clinic sites as needed
- Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse communities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and mobile healthcare technology
