About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our client’s multidisciplinary behavioral health team in New York City. This role plays a vital part in supporting clients across multiple programs by providing psychological assessments, clinical consultations, and therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual’s developmental profile and treatment needs.

The annual base salary range is $150,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological, cognitive, and neurodevelopmental evaluations to assess functioning, guide diagnosis, and inform individualized treatment and educational planning
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to develop and refine treatment plans that address each client’s emotional, behavioral, and cognitive needs
  • Deliver individual and group psychotherapy, maintaining thorough, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and compliance standards
  • Offer clinical consultation, training, and group supervision to staff on topics such as developmental stages, neurodiversity-informed care, and effective therapeutic modifications
  • Partner with families, caregivers, and external systems to support the continuity of care and ensure successful community reintegration for youth and young adults
  • Contribute to cross-program collaboration by fostering relationships with internal teams and community organizations that enhance service coordination and client outcomes

 

Job Requirements

  • Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology; active New York State license required
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing evaluation and treatment to adolescents and young adults with significant emotional or behavioral challenges
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals presenting co-occurring mental health, substance use, and developmental disorders (including IDD/ASD)
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized psychological and neurocognitive assessments
  • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities
