About the Opportunity
We are working with a well-established professional services firm in Manhattan, NY. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience with month-end close, AP and T&E. This is an excellent contract-to-hire opportunity to showcase your skillset!
*This opportunity is flexible for a hybrid schedule OR fully remote. If fully remote, the candidate MUST be located in the following states to be considered: NY, NJ, PA, CT, FL, VT
The base pay for this position is $36 to $38 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Responsibilities

- Vendor Management
- Month-end close
- Coordinate approval processes for all accounts payable invoices
- Ensure data accuracy
- Prepare Journal Entries
- T&E reports
- Balance sheets
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (accounting or finance)
- Understanding Xero and Expensify
- Bachelors degree in a related field
