About the Opportunity
Our client is a longtime manufacturer of high-quality furniture. They are actively seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support their team. This role operates full-time and on-site in Paterson, NJ.
The base pay for this position is $35 to $40 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Posting bills accurately and ensuring timely payments
- Verifying data and cutting checks with meticulous attention to detail
- Tracking and resolving discrepancies in vendor accounts
- Assisting the Controller with AP & AR reporting
- Logistics Support:
- Following up on imports and managing overseas logistics processes. (Training provided)
- General Ledger Management:
- Ensuring all entries are posted correctly
- Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks and Excel.
