About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading New York City hospital, is seeking skilled and dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time contract roles. In this position, you’ll provide high-quality care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, ensuring accuracy, safety, and timely interventions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The base pay for these positions is $54 to $58 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to patients on telemetry monitoring units
- Observe, analyze, and document cardiac rhythms and respond to abnormalities
- Administer medications, manage IV lines, and perform routine assessments
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatment, and recovery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policy
- Adhere to all infection control and patient safety standards
Job Requirements
- Active New York State RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or Step-Down experience (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Proficient in ECG interpretation and cardiac monitoring
- BSN (required)
