About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading mental health agency in New York City that is committed to providing trauma-informed care to individuals in need of support. They are seeking a Trauma Therapy Case Manager to join their team in Queens.
The annual base salary range is $55,000 to $70,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand the trauma history, emotional well-being, and psychosocial needs of clients
- Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to gather comprehensive information for a holistic understanding of the client’s situation
- Develop and implement individualized trauma-informed case plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring goals are realistic, measurable, and aligned with their unique needs
- Regularly review and update case plans based on the client’s progress, setbacks, and changing circumstances
- Offer trauma-focused counseling services using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mental health professionals, medical practitioners, educators, and community organizations, to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting assessments, case plans, interventions, and progress
Job Requirements
- MSW, MHC, LMSW, or LMHC license in New York
- At least 1 year of experience in case management and counseling
- Bilingual preferred
