About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our client’s team in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in women’s health, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
The annual base salary range is $135,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide primary care and gynecological services to female patients, including well-woman exams, contraceptive counseling, and prenatal and postpartum care
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions related to women’s health
- Conduct patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations
- Educate patients on preventive care, family planning, and health maintenance
- Offer counseling on lifestyle changes, nutrition, and exercise to promote overall health and well-being
- Address patient concerns and provide guidance on managing symptoms and treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and community resources as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
Job Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Women’s Health
- Current and valid WHNP license in NY
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in women’s health, primary care, or OB/GYN settings
- Strong clinical skills in women’s health and primary care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
