About the Opportunity:
This position involves working as a Laboratory Tech/Assistant, providing crucial laboratory services including the handling and processing of specimens in a clinical lab environment. This is a full-time contract position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
The estimated base pay for this position is $21.45 to $25.35 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Provide proper labeling and storage of blood specimens.
- Collaborate with medical professionals for quality assurance and controls.
- Monitor compliance with hazardous materials and MSDS guidelines.
- Assist in teamwork-focused lab operations and maintain equipment standards.
Job Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Strong skills in teamwork, communication, and lab operations.
- Flu vaccines required, no exemptions or declinations accepted.
