About the Opportunity:
The MRI Tech provides high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services to patients in an acute setting. As a part-time contract position, duties include operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety, and producing diagnostic images for interpretation. The shift is 12 AM to 8 AM with alternating weekends and holidays required.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.90 to $63.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create accurate diagnostic images using GE equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret images.
- Monitor and document patient information and progress.
- Stay informed on MRI technology and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Associate's degree from a Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum one year of MRI experience in an acute setting.
- Current certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging by ARRT or ARMRIT.
- Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license.
- Knowledge of GE equipment.
