Clinical Support Services – Radiology

About the Opportunity:

The Radiology Didactic Trainer provides didactic instruction within an 18-month radiography program, collaborating under the direction of the Program Director. This role involves designing and delivering course content aligned with JRCERT Standards, ARRT content specifications, and current professional practice. The trainer evaluates student learning using objective, equitable, and documented criteria and contributes to curriculum currency, outcomes assessment, and the program's continuous-quality-improvement efforts. This is a part-time contract position, offering flexibility between 30-40 hours per week based on candidate preference.

The estimated base pay for these positions are $59.40 to $70.20 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities:

Conducting didactic instruction and creating curriculum-aligned courses.
Providing teaching that builds a cognitive foundation for students.
Collaborating with program directors to coordinate course content.
Monitoring and documenting student progress and outcomes.
Staying informed on JRCERT Standards and ARRT content specifications.

Job Requirements:

Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field (or equivalent experience/training).
Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography (R(R)).
Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) / state radiologic technology license.
Comprehensive knowledge of radiographic science content.
Skill in developing course materials and evaluating student learning.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
