About the Opportunity:
This Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) position at a sports medicine clinic involves providing care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role includes responsibilities such as taking vital signs, recording patient histories, assisting with medical examinations, preparing examination rooms, and supporting patient care management. Patient interaction focuses on orthopedic and surgical cases. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $24.75 to $29.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and updating medical records.
- Assisting with medical examinations and surgical procedures.
- Stocking medical supplies and ensuring room readiness.
- Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating follow-up care.
- Performing venipuncture and suture removal as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Certification as a CMA through AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA, or ARMA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting.
- Proficiency with the Epic charting system preferred.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, and patient care.
