About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Physician to provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care to patients. This part-time contract position requires the physician to work in an outpatient clinic setting, collaborating with support staff to deliver high-quality care. The physician manages approximately 15 patients per day in a practice setting divided as 60% hematology and 40% solid tumor cases. Responsibilities include participating in tumor board meetings and providing standard medical oncology supervision for infusion services. The estimated base pay for these positions are $3602.50 to $4257.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and create personalized care plans.
- Provide therapy and education to patients in the oncology department.
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and other physicians to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using Meditech EMR.
- Stay informed on the latest hematology and oncology research and practice standards.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in hematology or medical oncology.
- Recent patient-facing experience required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
