About the Opportunity:
This Gastroenterology Physician position involves providing specialized care to adult patients, focusing on advanced procedures like ERCP and EUS. The role includes collaborating with a team of 9 APPs, several RNs, LPNs, and MAs across 3 GI locations. This is a full-time contract position available for 2-3 weeks per month, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The position is set in a hospital practice setting without on-call duties, offering a set outpatient schedule for advanced GI procedures and support for urgent inpatient cases.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $324.50 to $383.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting ERCP and EUS procedures and developing patient care plans.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team including APPs and RNs to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using Cerner EMR.
- Providing guidance and support to the call team by adding urgent inpatient cases to the schedule.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology required.
- State license required, consideration given to IMLC candidates or those qualifying for WV license.
- DEA and certifications in BLS, ACLS required.
