About the Opportunity:
This opportunity involves providing comprehensive behavioral health services to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As a physician in this full-time contract position, you conduct inpatient rounding, admissions, and discharges, transitioning to outpatient care when needed. You work in a supportive environment with experienced Psychiatric Hospitalist and APP support available. Occasional night call coverage may be necessary, relying primarily on permanent staff before any locum engagement.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $169.81 to $200.69 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct inpatient rounding, admissions, and discharges.
- Provide behavioral health care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with Psychiatric Hospitalist and Psychiatric NP to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using EPIC EMR system.
Job Requirements:
- MD or DO with a focus on Behavioral Health.
- BLS certification required.
- Washington license or IMLC with LOQ preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency with the EPIC charting system preferred.
