About the Opportunity:
This remote contract position offers a role for a Physician specializing in modalities such as XR, CT, MR, US, and NM. Responsibilities include conducting reads across subspecialty case mixes like ER, NEURO, and NUC MED. Physicians carry out up to 100 reads per 8-hour shift and achieve productivity targets with approximately 70 wRVUs. The position includes weekend shifts, Saturday and Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $1254.00 to $1482.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reading and analyzing XR, CT, MR, US, and NM modalities with a focus on ER, NEURO, and NUC MED.
- Maintaining a productivity target of approximately 70 wRVUs per shift.
- Monitoring and documenting case volume, ensuring accurate and comprehensive reports.
- Collaborating with other healthcare sites for remote coverage and support.
- Adhering to protocols and guidelines while using dictation and EMR systems such as Fluency and Epic.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification required.
- Experience with XR, CT, MR, US, and NM modalities.
- Licensing in the state of reading requirement or eligibility for assistance with licensing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet productivity standards.
- Experience with PACS (Merge) and effective use of dictation systems.
