About the Opportunity:
This full-time physician contract position involves providing comprehensive urological care at both a medical center and a nearby urology clinic. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating conditions such as erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, male incontinence, and conducting cystoscopies. The physician conducts standard urology procedures in both the clinic and operating room settings. Hospital and clinic privileges are necessary.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $235.13 to $277.88 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for urological conditions.
- Perform surgeries and procedures such as catheter and stent placements, cystoscopy, TURP, and others listed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate inpatient and outpatient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress in electronic medical records using EPIC.
- Stay informed on the latest urology research and practices.
Job Requirements:
- MD/DO degree with Washington state license in hand at time of presentation.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in urology.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Demonstrated experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
- Previous experience with Da Vinci is a plus.
- Ability to provide surgical services and meet documentation requirements with a case log from the last 24 months.
