About the Opportunity:
This position involves providing environmental services as an EVS Aide in a dynamic hospital setting in New Orleans, LA. The role includes cleaning and servicing guest, patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas to maintain a clean and aseptic environment. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $10.44 to $12.34 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and servicing a variety of areas including guest, patient, public, clinical, and administrative spaces.
- Maintaining a clean and aseptic environment in accordance with hospital standards.
- Coordinating with team members to ensure comprehensive coverage of duties.
- Handling and disposing of waste materials safely.
- Operating cleaning equipment efficiently and safely.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel housekeeping.
- Stable work history with at least 1 year tenure at each prior job.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Willingness to work any shift starting between 6am and 12pm.
- Availability during weekends and holidays.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
