About the Opportunity:
The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive OBGYN services, including routine and specialized procedures, in an outpatient clinic setting. This position requires seeing approximately 18-21 patients per day, ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Responsibilities include conducting office-based procedures such as biopsies, IUD placement, and performing both routine and problem-focused visits. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $83.60 to $98.80 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting initial OB visits and routine follow-ups.
- Performing office-based procedures such as IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal.
- Collaborating with midwives and other healthcare professionals for patient care coordination.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, including routine OB and postpartum visits.
- Staying informed on the latest OBGYN practices and research.
Job Requirements:
- Current unrestricted CA license.
- Board Certification in relevant field.
- DEA certification required.
- BLS or ACLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of OBGYN experience.
- Epic experience highly preferred.
