About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Surgery. The role involves serving as the primary first assist in the operating room, with no responsibilities for managing patients independently in clinics or on the inpatient/surgical service. The Nurse Practitioner participates entirely in the operating room for scheduled surgeries, facilitating surgeries for specialties including Urology, Gyn Oncology, Endo Surgery, and Otology. Robotic procedures range from 30% to 80% depending on the specialty.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $94.05 to $111.15 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct surgical assistance for Urology, Gyn Oncology, Endo Surgery, and Otology procedures.
- Provide support in robotic surgeries, with varying percentages based on specialty.
- Collaborate with a team of surgeons and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Focus solely on roles within the operating room setting.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification: required.
- Hold a TX license (can be pending).
- Relevant certifications as required for the role.
