About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Nurse Practitioner providing gastroenterology care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This full-time contract position involves working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and involves working at both clinic and hospital facilities. You provide patient consultations, evaluations, and management for adults aged 18 and up. Collaborate with gastroenterology specialists and other advanced practice providers to ensure high-quality care.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $91.34 to $107.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and creating care plans for patients with gastrointestinal issues.
- Providing patient education on treatment options and managing conditions effectively.
- Collaborating with gastroenterologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Job Requirements:
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Minimum experience providing clinical services reflecting the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the last 24 months.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
- COVID-19 vaccination required; no exemptions accepted.
