About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for an RN Circulator specializing in Cardiac OR at Strong Memorial Hospital. The role involves providing care for a wide range of adult cardiac patients, including CABGs, TAVIs, heart failure cases, and heart transplants. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, the RN Circulator independently manages complex cases such as structural heart procedures and minimally invasive surgeries.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $59.40 to $70.20 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting specific assessments and creating care plans for adult cardiac cases.
- Providing specialized care during complex procedures such as CABGs and heart transplants.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress rigorously.
- Staying informed on advancements in cardiac surgical care and protocols.
Job Requirements:
- RN License (NY License ONLY).
- Two years of relevant experience.
- Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma – preferred.
- Able to circulate and perform telemetry.
- BLS and ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
