About the Opportunity:
Join our team as an RN in an outpatient nephrology clinic setting. This position manages clinic-based patient care, including assessments, care coordination, patient education, and provider support. It involves performing a variety of patient care activities and services to support a defined patient population program or service. The role demonstrates excellence in nursing practice through quality patient care and active participation in both formal and informal patient and staff education. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $38.50 to $45.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care.
- Plan, provide, and monitor patient needs in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing quality assurance and maintain regulatory requirements.
- Assist in establishing and updating applicable policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Current Virginia state license as a Registered Nurse or valid Compact State license.
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Professional certification in the area of expertise or BSN, MSN, or NP preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive clinical experience in nephrology preferred.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- CPR training required or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
