About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, providing critical care to patients. This is a full-time contract position, where you assist patients with various urgent medical conditions. You assess patients, administer medications, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $50.40 to $59.56 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create care plans.
- Provide emergency care and initiate life-saving interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately.
- Use MEDITECH for record-keeping and communication.
Job Requirements:
- Current NYS RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- PALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Experience with MEDITECH and travel nursing required.
- Preferred critical care and charge experience.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Defibrillation certification within six months of employment.
