About the Opportunity:
Join our team as an RN in the Endoscopy/GI Lab, where you provide specialized care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This full-time contract position allows you to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced clinical skills to support patient care. The work schedule is as follows: 0730-1800; DAYS – 4×10 various days of the week, with no call or weekend requirements. The estimated base pay for these positions is $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct endoscopic assessments and create individualized care plans.
- Provide conscious sedation administration and monitoring.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
- Monitor and document patient progress, particularly in sedation and procedure tolerance.
- Stay informed on latest endoscopy and GI practices and protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a BSN and hold a valid California RN License.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in GI/endoscopy or as a pre/post-op nurse.
- Proficient skills in charting with the Epic system.
- Ability to start and maintain IVs and handle specimens correctly.
