About the Opportunity:
The RN, Interventional Radiology (IR) role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing imaging services at the medical center, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology procedures. This is a full-time contract position requiring expertise in IV support, procedural preparation, moderate sedation, patient monitoring, and post-procedural recovery instructions. The role necessitates the ability to float to other facilities as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and preparing individualized care plans.
- Providing moderate sedation and monitoring during procedures.
- Collaborating with radiology and nursing teams to optimize patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to procedures.
- Staying informed on advancements in interventional radiology and imaging practices.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License, BSN, AHA BLS, ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology and adult acute care settings.
- Experience in diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology.
- Skills in procedural sedation and pacemaker interrogation.
- Preferred: Experience in ICU, ED, PACU, or procedural areas; Radiology Imaging Nursing Certification; PALS certification.
