About the Opportunity:
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides vital healthcare services to patients requiring skilled nursing care. This full-time contract position involves administering medications, recording patient information, and assisting with medical procedures. LPNs collaborate closely with registered nurses and physicians to deliver comprehensive care and ensure patient safety and comfort.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $26.26 to $31.04 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administering medications and IV treatments as prescribed.
- Recording and monitoring vital signs and patient progress.
- Assisting physicians with examinations and medical procedures.
- Providing patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Job Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
