About the Opportunity:
We have an exciting contract opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) in Lewiston, ME. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing routine assessments, and supporting physicians with medical procedures. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $25.30 to $29.90 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and support care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and injections.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report findings.
- Stay informed on best practices and updates in patient care.
Job Requirements:
- Valid LPN or MA certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
