About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Clinic, where you provide patient-centered care in ambulatory oncology settings. This full-time contract position involves floating assignments across various UCSF Health facilities, focusing on patient assessment, symptom management, care coordination, and education for oncology patients. Work hours are primarily 8-hour days.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessment and triage in outpatient oncology.
- Provide symptom and treatment-toxicity management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using the Epic charting system.
- Stay informed on oncology care and management techniques.
Job Requirements:
- Current California RN License and BSN.
- AHA BLS Certification.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in outpatient oncology.
- At least 1 year of experience in an ambulatory setting.
- Minimum 2 years of oncology experience in Medical or Surgical Oncology.
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience.
- Experience with telephone triage and symptom assessment.
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), OCN, BMT.
