About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Radiology, specializing in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds. This part-time contract position offers a dynamic work environment within Diagnostic Imaging. Successful candidates possess strong communication skills, critical thinking ability, and a team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, and organized approach. Preference is given to those with medical/surgical and telemetry experience.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $63.25 to $74.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for radiology patients.
- Provide specialized nursing care during various radiological procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses during procedures.
- Stay informed on current practices in radiology nursing care.
Job Requirements:
- New York RN License (only).
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nursing experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).
- Telemetry experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association only).
