About the Opportunity:
As a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit, you provide specialized care and monitoring to patients who require constant observation. You play a critical role in assessing patient conditions, administering medication, and using advanced technology to track heart rhythms and other vital signs. This position is full-time and involves a rotating 12-hour day/night shift, including weekends as needed. You must be able to float to other facilities and units as required.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.70 to $61.10 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education on recovery processes and health management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately using Epic charting system.
- Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in telemetry and patient care management.
Job Requirements:
- Current CA RN license and BSN degree.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2.5 years recent TCU/Stepdown/PCU experience.
- Trauma Level II experience required.
- Preferred NIHSS certification and experience with acute care patients post-procedure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
