About the Opportunity:
Join our clinical team as a Patient Services Representative, providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction within a team-based environment. This part-time contract position emphasizes outstanding customer service, assisting patients and staff, answering phones, making appointments, and helping complete treatment plans through financial arrangements.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $13.75 to $16.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) get finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge, smile, and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns according to policies.
- Answer telephones and schedule appointments.
- Maintain and confirm appointments in the appointment book.
- Follow up on no-shows and cancellations.
- Register patients on the sign-in sheet.
- Post charges and payments to patient accounts.
- Check voicemail daily.
- Maintain a clean and patient-friendly waiting area.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months Denticon experience in the dental industry.
- Experience answering telephones.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office (preferred).
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) (preferred).
