About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position as a Physician Assistant in Surgery involves providing specialized surgical care, primarily in urology, gynecologic oncology, endoscopic surgery, and otology. The role involves serving as the primary first assist in the operating room without independent clinic or inpatient/surgical service management. Responsibilities include participating in robotic surgeries and collaborating with a team of surgeons.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $94.05 to $111.15 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting surgical preparation and serving as primary first assist for various procedures.
- Providing support in all operating room procedures as scheduled.
- Collaborating with surgeons in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Monitoring and ensuring the best surgical care for adult patients.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification required.
- Valid TX license or pending status.
- Relevant certifications as required by the credentialing process.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a fast-paced OR environment.
