About the Opportunity:
The Ultrasound Tech position involves performing comprehensive cardiac scans and utilizing expertise in cardiac scanning to provide high-quality patient care. This is a full-time contract position dedicated to conducting sonographic exams in accordance with medical protocols.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $58.65 to $69.31 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting cardiac (heart) scans and creating detailed patient reports.
- Providing clear and precise sonographic images for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and imaging outcomes.
- Staying informed on latest research and advancements in sonography practices.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an appropriate training program for Ultrasound Technologist, including Military Training.
- At least one year of General Registered Ultrasound experience.
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by American Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
