About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-regarded Financial Services firm, is seeking a strategic and experienced Equity and Retirement Operations professional to lead global equity compensation, retirement programs, and employee financial wellness initiatives. This role will oversee the strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of programs that support employees’ long-term financial health and align with market best practices. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader in equity compensation and retirement programs who can improve processes, ensure compliance, and explain complex financial topics clearly to employees at all levels. This role sits in Manhattan and follows a hybrid work schedule.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of global equity programs, including stock options, RSUs, RSAs, and other long-term incentives
- Act as the go-to expert for equity-related communications, providing clear and practical guidance to employees and leaders
- Lead 401(k) and international retirement programs, ensuring smooth administration, accurate contributions, and ongoing program enhancements
- Partner with stakeholders and external vendors to deliver accessible financial education and resources that help employees make informed decisions
- Maintain program compliance with relevant domestic and international regulations
- Create engaging financial wellness programs
Job Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of Blended experience of full lifecycle equity comp/401k/retirement
- BA required
- Financial services experience is preferred
- Proven leadership experience in equity, retirement, or financial wellness program management
- Strong knowledge of market best practices, regulations, and employee engagement strategies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable information
