About the Opportunity
We’re seeking reliable and professional Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) for full-time contract positions across multiple healthcare facilities in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. These roles offer the opportunity to support physicians and clinical teams in providing quality patient care in fast-paced environments ranging from outpatient clinics to hospital departments.
The base pay for these roles is $20 to $22 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for exams and assisting physicians during procedures
- Taking vital signs, performing EKGs, and collecting lab specimens
- Managing patient records and updating EMR systems accurately
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow
- Performing administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and handling phone calls
- Maintaining exam rooms, supplies, and clinical equipment
Job Requirements
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential (NHA Required)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience (outpatient or hospital setting) required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Proficiency with EMR systems
