About the Opportunity
Our client, a prestigious financial services firm based in Manhattan, is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Human Resources Business Partner to join their high-impact HR team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting senior business leaders in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, delivering strategic and hands-on HR solutions that drive organizational effectiveness and talent outcomes.
The HR Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, fostering strong partnerships across the organization, delivering data-driven people strategies, and advancing the firm’s global talent agenda. Responsibilities include leveraging HR analytics to inform decisions, supporting performance management and talent development initiatives, advising on employee relations and leadership development, and ensuring the alignment of HR practices with business priorities. The HRBP will be a visible, collaborative team player who contributes to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
The annual base salary range is $150,000 to $225,000 plus a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner closely with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and deliver HR solutions that drive performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
- Build trusted relationships across the organization and serve as a thoughtful, credible advisor on talent, leadership, and performance matters
- Use data, analytics, and market insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and align people strategies with business objectives (e.g., training initiatives, investor diligence requests, operational improvements)
- Lead and execute key elements of the firm’s global talent agenda, including performance management, promotions, and talent development
- Be a hands-on team player—willing to roll up your sleeves, support colleagues, and contribute to a collaborative, high-impact HR function
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a strategic, hands-on HR Business Partner role
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong record of academic achievement
- Prior experience in financial services required
- Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence senior leaders, and translate business needs into effective people strategies
