AP Coordinator

About the Opportunity

A fast-paced, technology-driven trading firm is seeking a highly organized and dependable Accounts Payable Coordinator to join its Finance team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone detail-oriented with experience using QuickBooks, Concur, and Excel. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day AP operations, including processing vendor invoices and managing employee expense reports, while gaining exposure to the inner workings of a high-performing trading environment. The base pay for this position is $20 to $22 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, code, and process vendor invoices in QuickBooks
  • Review and audit employee expense reports via Concur, ensuring compliance with internal policies
  • Assist with weekly payment runs, including ACH, wires, and checks
  • Maintain vendor records and monitor payment schedules
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
  • Support AP reconciliations and reports using Excel
  • Help prepare documentation for reviews
  • Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate payment processing

 

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of Accounts Payable or finance operations experience
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Concur, and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
