About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Gynecologist to join our client’s new outpatient women’s health center in Montclair, NJ. The Gynecologist will be responsible for providing outpatient gynecological care to patients, including routine examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatment interventions. The annual base salary range is $200,000 to $300,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive gynecological assessments, including pelvic examinations, Pap smears, and breast exams
- Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions, such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and reproductive system infections
- Perform procedures, including colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, and LEEP (loop electrosurgical excision procedure), as required
- Provide contraceptive counseling and family planning services
- Manage menopause-related care, including hormone replacement therapy and symptom management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, nurse practitioners, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to review patient cases and discuss treatment plans
- Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements in gynecology through continuing education, professional development, and participation in conferences and seminars
Job Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Residency training in Gynecology
- Board certification or eligibility in Gynecology
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of New Jersey
- Proficiency in performing gynecological procedures and surgeries
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
