About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected hospital network in the New York City metro area, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time contract roles across a variety of inpatient and outpatient hospital units. These positions offer steady full-time hours, competitive weekly pay, and the opportunity to support patient care within well-established hospital environments.
Assignments are available in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and surrounding areas.
The base pay for this position is $40 to $45 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians
- Administer medications and perform treatments according to hospital protocols
- Monitor vital signs and document clinical information accurately
- Assist with wound care, specimen collection, and diagnostic preparation
- Support patient mobility, comfort, and daily care needs
- Communicate patient updates to the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain compliance with hospital safety and infection control standards
Job Requirements
- Active New York State LPN license – Required
- At least 1 year of LPN experience – Required
- BLS certification – Preferred
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Ability to adapt to different hospital units and patient populations
