About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading global investment firm in New York City, is seeking a contract Salesforce Developer to join its in-house technology team. This is a hands-on, technical contract role focused on supporting and enhancing Salesforce solutions tied to investment operations and client engagement. The ideal candidate has deep Salesforce development experience, especially within financial services, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
The base pay for this position is $70 to $80 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, and batch jobs to support business processes
- Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) for enhanced user experience
- Modify existing Visualforce pages and components as needed
- Design and support data integrations via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools
- Implement scalable data models and configure security settings
- Use declarative tools like Process Builder and Flow where appropriate
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot technical issues
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and version control processes
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Strong command of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
- Proficient in API integrations and ETL tools
- Skilled in Salesforce data architecture and security best practices
- Experience with Salesforce CLI, Visual Studio Code, and deployment automation
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification preferred
- Experience in private equity, asset management, or broader financial services is a plus
