About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a dedicated and versatile Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team as a Hospital Float located in Bloomfield, New Jersey. This position involves a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, providing high-quality care to adult patients. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, skilled in both hospital and clinic settings, and committed to delivering comprehensive medical services.
The annual base salary range is $130,000 to $175,000, along with a bonus and equity ownership. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hospital rounds, managing the care of adult patients in an inpatient setting
- Perform thorough patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress
- Provide follow-up care and continuity of care for discharged patients in an outpatient clinic setting
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, health maintenance, and disease prevention
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with medical advancements and best practices
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in NJ
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage a wide range of adult medical conditions130k to $175k
