About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading mental health provider in Westchester, and they are looking for CBT/DBT Psychologist to join their team.
The annual base salary range is $90,000 to $125,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, including gathering relevant historical and psychosocial information
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans based on CBT and DBT principles, considering their unique strengths, challenges, and goals
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based CBT and DBT techniques to address a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and emotion dysregulation
- Teach clients coping skills, mindfulness techniques, and emotion regulation strategies to enhance their ability to manage distressing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors effectively
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including trainings, workshops, and supervision, to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of emerging research and best practices in CBT and DBT
Job Requirements
- Psychologist license in New York State
- CBT/DBT experience required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
