About the Opportunity
We are working with a leading real estate investment trust company based in New York City to find a motivated and detail-oriented Cash Management Consultant for a part-time role. This position will support accounts payable and all disbursement-related functions, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable operations, cash management and strategy, reporting, and vendor management. The base pay for this position is $60 to $70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Process invoices in compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Manage vendor onboarding and screening for new vendors, ensuring accurate updates and maintenance of vendor records
- Research and address vendor inquiries regarding past due invoices
- Coordinate responses to accounting and audit inquiries
- Review and code invoices for payment processing
- Maintain 1099 records and assist with annual filings
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage your own schedule effectively
- Ability to perform consistently at a high level in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of JDE accounting systems is a plus
