About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected non-profit organization in the Bronx, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Supervisor to join their team. This organization specializes in providing supportive services to homeless and at-risk populations, including individuals impacted by mental health issues, substance use, and HIV/AIDS. This is a meaningful opportunity to take on a leadership role while continuing to make a direct impact through both supervision and client care.
The base pay for this position is $38 to $42 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and support case managers while managing a small caseload of your own
- Complete assessments, develop individualized service plans, and guide residents toward personal stability and independence
- Deliver crisis support and counseling as needed, and ensure access to appropriate medical and behavioral healthcare
- Help clients secure and maintain public benefits, housing subsidies, and essential services
- Facilitate wellness groups and life skills programming to foster self-sufficiency
- Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, and social service agencies to maintain strong community partnerships
- Ensure documentation and reporting meet agency, city, and funding guidelines
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
- LMSW or LMHC required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the behavioral health field
- At least 1 year working directly with individuals who are unhoused, HIV-positive, in recovery, or managing mental health diagnoses
