About the Opportunity
Join our client, one of New York City’s top-ranked community-based healthcare systems, as an Ambulatory Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at their Manhattan location. This is a full-time opportunity offering a steady day-shift schedule, competitive compensation, excellent union benefits, and up to a $15k sign-on bonus.
The base pay for this position is $33 to $35 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Gather patient history, record vital signs, and assist with intake assessments
- Administer medications and immunizations as prescribed
- Provide basic wound care, remove sutures, and assist with minor procedures
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately
Job Requirements
- NYS Licensed Practical Nurse
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ambulatory care, outpatient, or urgent care setting – Required
- MUST HAVE prior phlebotomy and EKG experience (certifications preferred)
