About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Dental Hygienist in a part-time contract position. Collaborate with the dentist to meet patient oral health needs while providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction. Operate in a team-based environment and perform a variety of clinical duties essential to dental office operations. Deliver oral hygiene care, patient education, and contribute to a cohesive team dedicated to customer service and patient care.
The estimated base pay for this position is $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct oral hygiene treatments and provide oral hygiene care and education per state regulations.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants.
- Remove calculus, stains, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Use GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment when necessary.
- Order and maintain inventory as needed.
- Uphold office policies, including HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
- Contribute to team efforts and accomplish related tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- Must hold a current state-issued Dental Hygiene license.
- CPR certification and X-ray training or certification.
- At least one year of hands-on experience as a dental hygienist.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
